ACT 3
Our ACT 3 actor training programme focuses on the core skills of acting, voice and movement that will help you build confidence professionally and personally.
We will go All In to help you achieve what you want and will support you before, during and after the course.
We understand the importance of striking a balance between training and life, so we have designed a three day a week course (Tuesday to Thursday 9.30am - 5pm. ) that enables you to work alongside it.

Everybody who teaches on the course is an experienced, modern teacher who is also an industry based professional. It is important to us that our students work with staff who have knowledge of todays industry but also have a conscious understanding of the nature of teaching and it’s dynamics. We employ teachers with a human approach who ENCOURAGE, INSPIRE AND GUIDE while considering that their students are individuals with voices of their own.
All of your classes are structured in order to compliment one another. Your teachers will work in continual communication to make sure you get the best training possible.
COURSE BREAK DOWN
Term one
Classes in acting, voice, movement, audition practice, theatrical clown, audition practice, and industry workshops. plus professional headshots.
Term two
Classes in acting, voice, movement, acting through songtheatrical clown, acting for camera, and industry workshops. Professionally filmed scene for showreel.
Term Three
In term three rehearsals will begin for a full scale production, performed in a London venue which will be open to the public and used to showcase you to industry professionals. Alongside this you will continue classes in voice and movement.

We strive to make our fees as affordable as possible. With a total 756 hours of training they are under £7.00 an hour.

What’s covered on the course
As well as classes in acting, voice and movement, you will receive regular audition practice, acting for screen, acting through song and a wide range of industry workshops from directors, agents, casting directors and theatre practitioners. We provide each student with a professional headshot and professional filmed scene for their showreel.
In the final term you will perform in an open to the public production that will be played in a London venue.
Acting
Focusing on elements of Stanislavski’s system and Uta hagen’s exercises, our acting classes will help you develop the inner life of a character, as well as building confidence in your approach to text. These classes will focus on unlocking your imagination helping you to play, explore and discover.
Voice
Focusing on breath, grounding and articulation these classes will help you discover the rich nature of your own voice and the power it can give you.
Movement
Encouraging the actor to connect to their body and breath, your movement classes will compliment your voice and acting classes, guiding you to become a fully connected actor capable of expressing themselves physically.
Acting For Screen
To find an ease, truthfulness and specificity in your performance on screen, with a focus on ultra screen naturalism. Working on unselfconciousness, connection, self taping, screen naturalism, camera technique, confidence on screen, film terminology and technique, what to expect on set, text toolkit for prep and focus and preparation exercises for screen.
Theatrical Clown
Through play, games and exercises we will unlock a more open, daring and vulnerable you. Acknowledging one's own ridiculousness is fundamental to a performer and we will help turn off the ‘clever’ part of the brain and tap into a simpler, impulse lead way of working.
Audition Practice
Regular audition practice with a mock audition panel will help you build confidence to walk into any audition room and give your all. You will work on both classical and contemporary monologues, sight reading and interview technique. You will also experience being a part of the audition panel to understand what its like on the other side of the table.
Acting Through Song
Focusing on using Estill Vocal Techniques. Estill explores the natural resonators of actors voices to connect with a song, exploring different sounds that can be created to support and synergise lyric, music and story: thus making a song alive, truthful and active.
Industry workshops and Q&A
One off and regular workshops throughout the course from agents, casting directors and experts from all fields of the industry.

Rehearsals
You will experience what it is like to be in a professional rehearsal room as you work towards your end of year show. This will give you understanding and first hand experience of what is expected of an actor in the rehearsal room. The production will have a full professional creative team offering you the opportunity to learn about what these different roles entail and how important they are.
Production
You will perform in a full length, full scale production in a London venue at the end of your training. This will allow you to gain experience of working in a professional theatre and put everything you have learned in classes and throughout rehearsals into practice. This production will be open to the public as well as invited agents and casting directors.
